My name is Quinton Klammer, but I usually go by Quin. I live in Eau Claire Wisconsin. My personal passion is working on cars. I have a 1977 Pontiac Bonneville, a 1992 Daihatsu Atrai, a 1991 Honda Beat, and a 2009 Honda Fit. The Daihatsu Atrai and Honda Beat were both imported from Japan, so they have the steering wheel on the right side of the car. Even when there is nothing broken with one of my cars, I will find something to work on whether it is something cosmetic or an upgrade. I feel most at home when I am wrenching on an engine, or under the car working on suspension!
In life I find that my personal narrative is to make the best out of everything. Bad things happen all the time but if you can't look past the negative, and see the positive, life would just suck. I also greatly believe that opportunities are made, not usually given to you. When I got my imported cars, I knew very little about working on vehicle maintenance and upgrades. I used the cars to give myself the opportunity to learn about how cars work. It started with little things like oil changes and air filters, and eventually it became engine and transmission rebuilds. Without diving into this, I would have never given myself the opportunity to learn about cars and get good at working on them.
